Starting in Spring of 2025, The Whale Research Institute will sponsor educational courses and seminars covering the various research and engineering work we perform, whale & cetaceans education and other ocean and wildlife conservation matters.
Course & Seminars will be held in San Francisco at The Golden gate Yacht Club, in Sausalito at the Army Corps of Engineers, Bay Model, Monterey Bay at The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute in Moss Landing, in Santa Barbara at the Santa Barbara Yacht Club, in Dana Point at the Ocean Institute, in San Diego (venue to be determined) and other coastal cities.
Guest speakers and lecturers will include marine researchers and engineers from all over the world.
Subjects covered in our Courses & Seminars will include:
* Man Made Wave Phenomena in our Oceans: “A Deadly New Pollution”
* Whale species, tracking and breading; “The State of the Whales”
*The Deadly High Power SONAR used by the US NAVY: “War of the Whales”
The story of how the US NAVY is murdering whales & cetaceans in the name
“national security”
*“Killing Pools” Whales & Cetaceans in Cruel Captivity for Human Entertainment,
and the effort to get parents to stop taking children to see these types of events and
venues.
More topics are to be added as we secure venue dates and times as well as
presenters availability for scheduling.
